Generate a printable flange adapter for a ribbed sheet-metal roof.
This app generates printable flange adapters whose underside is shaped to conform to a periodic ribbed sheet-metal roof, so the printed part sits flush against the roof rather than rocking on the rib peaks.
A single adapter is really two mating parts split along the roof surface: the topside sits above the roof with pads that drop into the indents, and the underside is a mirror piece that receives those pads from below. Print both, sandwich the sheet metal between them, and bolt through.
The generated STL matches the nominal roof profile exactly. Real prints and real sheet metal are noisier, so you'll almost always want to bake in some clearance:
Everything is parametric — no need to guess. Print a small test coupon (a short strip that spans one rib), iterate on the tolerance values, then run the full flange when the coupon slips on cleanly.
The URL always reflects the current parameters, and hitting Copy share link copies a link that reproduces the exact STL you're looking at.
